In this time when Vladimir Putin is threatening the safety of the entire world, not just the safety of the so-called Free World? In this time when the possibly oldest democracy in the world is being run by a petty drunken BoJo-ish clown of a dictator who refuses to give up power after being thoroughly criticized by his own Party, let alone the people of the nation he is supposed to be guiding? In this time when in the United States of Idiots tyrannical State leaders are legislating laws that take away freedom from Women, People of Colour, pPeople of Alternate Lifestyles, People of differing religious or non-religious thoughts and ideals, and even taking away the basic act of any democracy, the act of voting? I commented on the original post but also figure it couldn’t hurt bringing it up here- is democracy flawed, or does democracy have a virus? I’d say the latter.

If democracy was healthy (not flawed), it would not be able to succumb to a virus. It wouldn’t have all the antibodies to fight the virus.
